BLLE 1 Day Course Description
Course Information:
This 1-day course is structured to guide the growth and development of leaders within the Law Enforcement community. Although it primarily targets patrol officers and Field Training Officers, all personnel are welcome. Drawing from over 30 years of combined Federal, Local, and Private Sector leadership experience, this course offers a wealth of knowledge.
The lecture and facilitated discussion-based course will engage students in meaningful, honest evaluations and conversations about leadership and how the Law Enforcement community trains and prepares individuals for promotion.
It examines historical and current trends in Law Enforcement leadership training, as well as alternative opportunities for developing current and future leaders. Throughout the day, students will delve into each objective to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to become and function as a Leader in Law Enforcement.

- Honesty and self-reflection.
- Self-improvement.
- Leader vs. Manager.
- Purpose and vision of a leader in Law Enforcement.
- 14 traits of a Leader.
- Proficiency and competency.
- 3-Circles of Trust & the Triangle of Community.
- Sound and timely decisions.
- Responsibility to peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
- Effective and collaborative relationships.
- Build and sustain a culture of learning.
- Setting the example.
Logistics:
Classroom with AV hookup for laptops to present PowerPoint PPT.
Whiteboard or chalkboard.
Cost:
The host agency is eligible for three free seats.
Tuition: $150 per student.
All tuition fees are due prior to the first day of instruction.
Cancelation prior to fifteen (15) days of the first day of instruction will result in 100% refund of tuition fee.
Cancelation between eight (8) and fourteen (14) days of the first day of instruction will result in 50% refund of tuition fee.
Cancelation up to seven (7) days prior to the first day of instruction will result in forfeiture of tuition.
Exceptions are considered for legal or medical alibies. Contact us if you require this option.
