Course Description:
This 1-day course is structured to guide the growth and development of leaders within the Law Enforcement community. Although it primarily targets patrol officers and Field Training Officers, all personnel are welcome. Drawing from over 30 years of combined Federal, Local, and Private Sector leadership experience, this course offers a wealth of knowledge.
The lecture and facilitated discussion-based course will engage students in meaningful, honest evaluations and conversations about leadership and how the Law Enforcement community trains and prepares individuals for promotion.
It examines historical and current trends in Law Enforcement leadership training, as well as alternative opportunities for developing current and future leaders. Throughout the day, students will delve into each objective to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to become and function as a Leader in Law Enforcement.
