This one-day course is designed to guide, support, and foster the growth and development of leaders within the law enforcement community. While its primary audience includes patrol officers and Field Training Officers, it is open to all personnel. The curriculum is built on over 30 years of combined experience in leadership roles across Federal, Local, and Private Sector settings.
The course combines lectures with facilitated discussions, encouraging participants to engage in meaningful, candid evaluations and conversations about leadership. It examines how the law enforcement community trains and prepares individuals for advancement, exploring both historical and current trends in leadership training as well as alternative approaches to developing future leaders.
Throughout the day, participants will explore each objective in depth, gaining a comprehensive understanding of what it means to serve as a leader in law enforcement and how to effectively fulfill this critical role.
