This course prepares students for the potential of the rapid transition from surveillance to exigent circumstance rescues where Undercover (UC) officers or Confidential Informants (CI’s) are placed in physical harm or life-threatening situations.
This 3-day UC/CI Rescue course is structured for Street Crimes Units, Undercover Units, or any other Investigative Unit that utilizes UC officers or CI’s. It was developed from experiences while conducting, investigating, managing, and leading undercover operations.
This training curriculum is designed to give a fundamental understanding of equipment, skills and techniques to officers and surveillance teams who would have to enter a premises or vehicle under exigent circumstances.
The training will include basic entry skills, immediate action drills, impromptu vehicle assaults and lawful entries for immediate and necessary life-saving situations for officers, victims, hostages, or confidential informants operating under the authority of a law enforcement agency.
